Dr Nick Savage has over 25 years of experience in cybersecurity and is currently the Head of Infrastructure, Security and Compliance at Searchlight Cyber. Nick ensures that their systems and processes are compliant with the UK’s Cyber Essentials scheme, ISO270001: 2022 and the Common Criteria in SOC 2. Prior to joining Searchlight, Nick was the Head of the School of Computing at the University of Portsmouth, was a member (eventually vice-chair) of the Council of Professors and Heads of Computing in the United Kingdom, and worked with the UK Office of Cyber Security and Information Assurance in the Cabinet Office to embed cybersecurity into the curriculum of computer science degrees.
